This book is all about feminism, as the title indicates, and very critical to what is considered common sense in the current world. The author of this book, Adichie, is actually the same person as the one who presented "The Danger of The Single Story" in a TED talk. Japanese people are usually biased against feminism, and I was no exception, but this book metamorphosed my image of feminism. Incorporating Adichie's personal experiences, she throws questionable facts in regard to feminism and suggests what to do to resolve them. A lot of her experiences are imaginable and relatable, so I felt sympathized throughout the book. I highly recommend this book to all students who are interested in women rights, are not knowledgeable about feminism, and even are nonchalant of it, since this book brings a completely novel and advanced sight of feminism that you have probably never heard of.
